PRACTICAL CPD FOR BOOKKEEPERS
Are you a bookkeeper with responsibility or with their own small practice? Do you sometimes wish you could just pin an accountant down and ask all those niggly questions that you just can't seem to find answers to?
Well here is your chance!
Three times a year Butlers Chartered Accountants host a punchy, practical CPD workshop for local bookkeepers. The content is generated from attendees suggestions and there is plenty of time for questions and practical guidance answers.
Subjects on the agenda for 15th February are:
- Director's loan accounts, what are they, why are they a concern,
what are the red flags and what can you do about them?
- Fixed Asset Schedules, What are they in real life? How do you maintain them,
who's responsibility is it to run depreciation journals?
- Letters of Engagement and Anti Money Laundering Checks. Do you need to do them for
your clients if they have another accountant/ who does what?
- Payroll journals, how and why to post them, pointers to make them useful and keep
accountants happy
- Year end adjustments - avoiding confusion and frustration between accountants
and bookkeepers. Correcting issues identified later.
